Seo Kang Joon is a South Korean actor and singer, who was a member of the group “5urprise “ that debuted in 2013, and launched by fantagio. Seo Kang Joon's real name is Lee Seung Hwan, he was born on October 12, 1993.
The actor is from Gunpo (small city in South Korea’s Gyeonggi Province, located south of Seoul in the Seoul National Capital Area)
Seo Kang Joon is good at playing the piano, he played the role of a talented pianist in 2016 in a TV series Called “Cheese in The Trap” and gained recognition with his role.

Seo Kang Joon was raised along with his older sister. When he was eight, he started learning piano. At 17 he was sent to study at Ipoh International school of Malaysia for 17 months and learned English there.
When he disclosed his dream of becoming an actor, his parents did not oppose. Also he had to take up part-time jobs.
His parents had coaxed him to learn piano and study abroad, and he said he is thankful to them for letting him have some amazing experiences. Then he attended Dong Seoul College to study Performing Arts.

He loves watching movies, and "Eternal Sunshine" is one of his favorite movies. He is a nature lover, and likes to watch the sunsets.
Seo Kang Joon's Cats
In 2015, Seo Kang Joon adopted two cats and named them Oki and Doki. On February 24, 2019, When Seo Kang Joon was in Thailand for his fan-meeting, In one of his interviews he mentioned that he adopted the third cat and named him Kiki.

Seo Kang Joon debuted as a singer in 2013 when he joined a band called ‘5urprise’. Then he had appeared as guest in KBS’s “Good Doctor” in 2013.

His first major role was in the 2014 romantic-comedy series "Cunning Single Lady". And apeared in film called “My love, My Bride”. He appeared in the music video of the artist Ailee.

He appeared in TV Drama “What Happens to My Family?” (2014-2015), Splendid Politics, and To Be Continued, as well as film Summer Snow.

First episode of "Are You Human?" was released on June 4, 2018. When Seo Kang Joon played two roles as Human being and a Robot. On September 28, the first episode of the drama "The Third Charm" was released.

Seo Kang Joon was cast for the first time in thriller drama “WATCHER” which was airing on July 6, 2019. On August 5, Seo Kang Joon and the actress Park Min Young will be the leads in JTBC’s romance drama “If The Weather Is Nice, I’ll Come To You”and it’ll start airing on February, 2020.

On March 31, 5urprise’s contract has expired and Seo Kang Joon and the members officially left the company. Seo Kang Joon, Lee Tae Hwan, Kang Tae Oh, and Yoo il, will start a new agency with the staff they’ve been working with for a long time. Except for the 5th member, Gong Myung will be joining to a new agency.
